LotLinx Names Former Lithia Marketing Exec to Newly Created Position
Lotlinx named Mark Conner, who served as assistant vice president of marketing for Lithia, to the newly created position of vice president of channel strategy. He will focus on helping LotLinx customers eliminate ad waste while improving inventory turn. He will also lead the company's efforts to serve larger dealer groups.
CHICAGO — Digital marketing solution maker LotLinx has tapped former Lithia Motor Group Assistant Vice President Mark Conner as its new vice president of channel strategy.
According to offficials, the newly created position will tap into Conner’s deep understanding of how dealers drive ROI, and help LotLinx customers eliminate ad waste while improving inventory turn. He will also lead all efforts to serve larger dealer groups.
"Under Mark's long and skillful leadership as AVP of Marketing, Lithia grew to be the highest performing publicly traded dealership group in the United States," said LotLinx founder Len Short. "I'm confident Mark will be a tremendous asset toward the growth of our award-winning product suite of technologies. He is an auto marketing maven, bringing a deep knowledge and passion for the retail car business that will add significantly to our 'dealer-first' operating mission."
During his tenure at Lithia Motors, which ranked No. 4 on Automotive News' list of 150 dealership groups in the United States, Conner managed a team of 60 marketers that delivered cost-efficient solutions for the Fortune 500 company. Mark's efforts significantly impacted Lithia's marketing approach and was a vital driver in Lithia's ability to double its store footprint over the past seven years, officials said.
The announcement marks another significant milestone for LotLinx, whose solutions enable auto dealers to maximize inventory turn while minimizing wasted ad spend. Earlier this year, LotLinx launched the LotLinx TURN platform, a marketing solution that empowers dealers to focus digital marketing initiatives on specific inventory, rather than relying on "trickle-down" efforts.
